Selfbits is a spin-off of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and develops innovative digital solutions for Industry 4.0 and IIoT, specifically tailored for medium-sized enterprises.
With the Selfbits Manufacturing Suite, our cloud-based software solution, we enable seamless monitoring and analysis of the entire production process – from goods receipt and manufacturing to goods dispatch. Inefficient processes are made transparent, revealing potential for resource conservation and cost savings. Our goal is to help companies optimize their production workflows, making them more efficient and future-proof.

Selfbits started as a spin-off at KIT. We continue to be closely associated with KIT, in particular the professorship of Prof. Weinhardt, the KIT Founders Forge and the Innovation and Relations Management (IRM).
EXIST is a funding program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
It supports the preparation of innovative technology-oriented and knowledge-based start-up projects for students, graduates and scientists. Selfbits was funded by EXIST from 2015 to 2016.
