Our values

Our values are the foundation of our collaboration as a team and our collaboration with our customers and partners. These values are described less as ‘beliefs’ but rather pragmatically describe ‘how we operate’.

Customer centricity

Understanding our customers and the users of our software is essential for developing useful software. Therefore, we are continuously engaged in gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and problems our customers and users face. By understanding our customers’ challenges, empathizing with their situations, and building and maintaining trusted relationships, we can achieve the best possible results in finding solutions for them.

Teamwork

Only through the collaboration of people with different skills and abilities can results be achieved that are significantly better than what an individual can achieve alone. In order for us to work successfully as a team, we foster an open, humorous, and trusting culture, share our ideas and thoughts with each other, and treat each other with respect.

Quality

We are aware that the quality of our work and our outcomes significantly impacts the success of our customers and thus our collective success. Therefore, we strive to ensure that our work meets the highest quality standards possible.

Empiricism

We accept that there is no truth, only hypotheses that must be qualitatively or quantitatively tested by us regarding their accuracy. Therefore, we view all ideas as assumptions that must be systematically validated by us.

Personal responsibility

We take responsibility for our actions both individually and as a team. We continuously question our own actions to understand our behavior and continuously improve based on these insights. We accept the self-discipline required for this as a daily task. We believe that lifelong, intrinsically motivated learning is a central pillar for personal development. Therefore, we continuously educate ourselves independently and as a team, supporting each other on our individual development paths.

Craftsmanship

We perceive software development as a craft that must be initially learned and refined throughout one’s life. At the same time, we see software as a universally applicable tool to simplify as many recurring tasks as possible through automation.
